I'm usually found drinking sweet tea like it's going somewhere, dancing and singing to anything that gets my booty moving, and journaling to remember each and every second of this crazy, crazy life.

When we first got married, I gifted Ryan with a “date jar”. I literally went to hobby lobby, bought cute wifey/love stickers, glued sequence on the lid, and put 52 tongue depressors in it. (If you’re wondering WHAT THE? Those are the flat things docs use to look in your throat. lol
I chose to do 52 because we wanted to establish doing a date a week for year. So we divided them up and each got to write our own 26 date ideas on them to choose from. As you can imagine most of mine were things like “painting with a twist”, “walk down memory lane-looking at old photos”, “and “movie night”. Meanwhile his were more like “cooking in aprons only” INSERT EMOJI. We dedicated a night of the week to be date night and would draw from the jar for the date.
It can be hard to stay engaged with your spouse sometimes, but I hope that these can kickstart some fun ideas to get you two spending fun time together.
These are just a few and some fun ideas. We hope that it sparks some ideas for you guys to spend time being silly and intentional with each other.
